True crossdressers (not people who do it for fun or for some event) have a mixed up sense of gender identity, which has nothing to do with sexual orientation.

 

Some of my friends were bar hopping one night years ago. We got drunk enough to show up and support our friend in a drag contest. It was a celebrity look alike drag contest. Don't know if it was the beer or what, but alot of them looked better than the actual female celebrities:Q.

That night I met a girl there and straight out asked her "Excuse me, I'm drunk, and my perception is skewed.....are you a girl for real?" She even gave me her number but my gut said not to call her back after my hangover.

Interesting times.
