Kraftwerk

Another +1

One of the only bands I own actual albums for.
Friends dad used to listen to them way back in the day and that's what got me into techno.

I only own physical media for 2 others...

Vegas album from Crystal Method I got as a gift back in the 90's, I haven't listened to it in years

Listening to it now, it's not really my style.

And 3 main albums from Mind.In.A.Box:

I just randomly picked 2 from each, they're all good:

There's actually an overarching story to the albums if you listen to them in order.

Damn didn't realize this post is 4 years old when it kept popping up in my CP.

I always find it weird that I can speak Vietnamese fluently but its hard to understand the music. Same with any other language that's not my first.

Another metalhead here, and I listen to songs in:

English (English isn't my mothertongue) (for example Within Temptation, My Dying Bride)
German (Rammstein, Knorkator)
Russian (Arkona)
Swedish (Vintersorg)
Finnish (some songs by bands which mostly sing in English)
Arabic (Myrath)
Yiddish (Orphaned Land)
French (Arkan)
Portugese (Moonspell)
Turkish (Almora)
Sumerian (Therion)
Gaulish (Eluveitie)

And once in a while also to:
Chinese
Spanish
Italian
Greek
Japanese
Gaelic
Latin

Edit: Thought Arkan had French songs as well, but although they speak French in between songs the songs are (at least mostly) in English: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Kf7lSo-v34
Maybe I'll think of another one instead later 😛
