Can you enable locking with "Win + L" in Win 2K like you can in XP?

under Win XP you can just hit "Win + L" on the keyboard and it will automatically lock the computer (or go to the switch user screen, whever you have it setup to do). Anyone have any idea if you could set that up in Win 2K so you wouldnt have to go to the "ctrl+alt+del" menu and than click on "lock computer"?

not that i know of, but dude...

press ctrl-alt-del then press enter (lock comp is default button now). no mouse necessary. repeat and rinse thoroughly until you can do this in under 2 seconds (it's easy, trust me). a few more keys, but hardly more time then winxp.

The keystroke I usually do is Ctrl+Alt+Del and than hit the spacebar, I agree that this is really easy, I was just curious as to if anyone knew of a way to do it like XP (I'm just lazy I guess 😛 )

you can just creat a short cut on the desktop that you double click to lock the pc:

%windir%\System32\rundll32.exe user32.dll,LockWorkStation

you could right-click the shortcut, choose properties, and in the hotkey or shortcut key or whatever it is called, press L. then ctrl+alt+L will lock it...
