Can you dock, or lock the window size in firefox?

I love tabbed browsing, but hate how new windows open slightly to the side of the original. And from time to time, my window gets resized. I would like to dock it to one side of hte screen and/or lock the window size and location (say leftmost on my screen, stretched from top/bottom). Is there any way to do this, or an extension that can do this?
