I can do about 25 pull-ups... and I can just barely do a one-handed pull-up, but no push-ups.

Do the push-ups count if I use the 2nd hand to hold onto the 1st? ;)

A proper one handed pull up or chin is extremely rare. Very few people can do them. A person should be able to do at least 20 strict pullups before even starting to train for a one handed chin.

lol, good replies.

well, i'm gonna try some more. i like the feeling it gives, slight soreness or whatever.. makes it feel like i'm getting somewhere. :D regular pushups don't do much for me anymore, although I still do them now and then. the biggest difference i noticed ever was my triceps getting muuuch more defined/bigger after doing the pushups where your hands are close together and you go all the way down till your face is practically on the floor. heh, those are still significantly harder than normal pushups...

We call those "heart to heart" pushups (make a heart shape with your hands and then lower your chest down). They hurt but are awesome for working out the tri's

hmmm... never heard the term "heart to heart" pushups... that's a new one... everyone i nkow calls them diamond pushups...

Palms facing you is a chin. A pullup is the other way, with your hands over the bar.
