Can you define love?

This topic was prolly discussed before but couldn't find it among recent threads. How do you know if you have fallen in love?

Anyone can fall in love... it doesn't take much for that. If you can grow in love, then it is real and worthwhile, no matter what the outcome. (and I do NOT mean just a certain part of you 'growing' 😛 )

My gf says that she doesn't feel loved by me. She says when I hug her she just feels that someone is hugging her and doesn't feel my "love". Kinda confused here....I don't think I can "feel her love" either. I just believe in her

If you can't look in her eyes and see something other than her retinas, it's not love.

Hmm..

I'd say two have issues. 😛

sure I can define love...but it is only what I have come to know love as. It is an emotion, that is made up of many different emtions, and how much of each emotion that is needed to feel love varies from person to person....I think my buddy who just got married said it best, "You will know you love her when she tells you that you do...and you will know when you want to marry her when she comes home with the ring picked out"

Love to me is that person who when i'm with, i can completely let my defences down, be my true self, act the way i really want to, and feel completely comfortable with.

if you can look into someone's eyes and see their retinas, they've got problems.
