Augusta, GA.....

Store/Beer: anytime except on Sundays.
Store/liquor: until around 10pm, except on Sundays.
Bars: Monday to Saturday until 2am.
Alcohol can be served in restuarants on Sundays if bought with meals, and only if more food is sold than alcohol (and they do check).

We also have a $1500/$2000 fine for first drunk driving offense, with 30 days DUI school, and 90 day community service sentences (mandatory). Refuse the breathlizer test and your license is revoked for a year. So drink and have a designated driver, because it really bites to spend 30 days in jail if you don't have the cash for the fine.

9:00 PM is the cut off in WI. At least in SE WI anyway. Not sure what time you can start again in the morning.

Can get drinks in a bar, but can't buy alcohol from a store...

beer and liquor until 10 at separate stores, theres a further place in delaware that has both and is open til 11 but they're run by really really really awful immigrants who insist on often closing up to 15 minutes early. I hate giving them my patronage.

In MA, I think you have until 2 AM, but I was always plastered by that time, so i don't know.

that said, the Shaw's in Boston stops selling alcohol at 11PM.

Oregon-7am to 2am-bars and stores, Mon-Sat- Not sure what the restrictions are on Sundays. I think it's a little earlier for stores. Not sure if you can even buy hard alcohol on Sundays. May be the same as stores on Sunday, tho.

Yes, but in Oregon, you cannot buy liquor in grocery stores. You can only buy it in liquor stores. The latest I've seen any liquor stores open is 8pm. Most of them seem to close at 7pm.

in NJ, liquor stores close at either 9 or 10pm.

but i love NY. gas stations open 24 hours a day and they sell beers!! w00t!

I'm pretty sure you can at least buy beer in WA until 2am. Was in Spokane for a concert and was able to rush and buy beer around 2am for a after party.

California: you can't buy alcohol between 2:00AM and 6:00AM, which is fvcking retarded, but not nearly as retarded as other states where you need to go to seperate stores to buy beer and liquor, or can't buy either on sunday, or can't get beer in a grocery store, etc.

I think the law here is 11pm for beer and wine and 2 am for liquor. It's a city ordinance, not a state law. However, I'm not sure how this is controlled. For instance, most liquor stores will either close at 11pm or only sell beer after that time, but bars sell both beer and liquor until 2am.
