I wanted to know if this is true, but are Tbred, especially 333MHz FSB ones, do they have their multipliers factory unlocked, or is that so only with the KT400, NForce2 chipsets?

the multipliers are unlocked, but only the higher ones are enabled i believe
you have to enable the use of the lower multipliers

however with the 333 tbreds, the mult is already relatively low, so maybe you could get away without enabling lower mults

i believe nforce2 allows the adjusting of any mult without enabling the lower ones, but i cant remember atm about kt400....

I can adjust multipliers on my T-bred 1700 and A7V333(KT333) up to 12.5.

that is because the mult is really low to begin with (under 12.5)
to go above 12.5 you must break the connection for the L3 bridge i believe

All tbreds are unlocked, L1 bridges closed, mobos have nothing to do with unlocking. But capability of changing Multiplier from mobo/bios depends on the mobo. Older mobos needed the 5th L3 closing mod, then limited to 5X thru 12.5X. Most if not all latest mobos change full range of Multiplier right out of the box.
