Can Xbox play any video format other that DVD

Just to dive in deeper, in theory, most DVD players can play -R and +R, along with VCD's at a minimum. However, as far as I know, the X-Box doesn't like burnt media. Even if it did, -R and +R would probably be the only things that have a shot.
