Can Windows 2000 do 32Fat

Is Win 2000 compatible with a normal fdisk in 32Fat mode
I have some files on my D drive but want to install Win 2000 Proffesional on it.
Do I have to use 16Fat or can I just leave it the way it is now 32Fat
I don't want to hose my system before I do this.
I bought Partition Majic 6.0 which is compatible with win 2000, didn't install it yet just want to check everything out first.

Yah, works fine. You have to use Fat if you ever intend to dual with Win98/Me
