Can Win2k boot an NTFS partition >2GB?

I checked the NTFS faq in the AT guides, but it wasn't clear on this point. The guide mentions formatting with FAT32, but I'm not sure if that's just to install the OS or if the OS simply won't boot a partition bigger than 2 gigs. Thanks for any help-
