Oh well. I'm not exactly surprised it disappeared. It chaps my ass a bit that I spent an hour and a half writing it, and someone decides to whack it with no explanation, but these aren't my boards.

I don't understand the terrible aversion to discussing it, though. Like I said in my original thread, it's a part of Internet lore, and it happened here. I get that emotions ran high over it all, but it was EIGHT YEARS AGO! Anyone still holding a grudge really ought to un-wad those panties.

It's a shame we can't carry on discussions here as adults...back to meaningless one-liners it is!

reitz had a problem with how the forums were/are run, so it belongs in PFI. If he just told the story w/out the attachment to how he expects it to get deleted then it might not have been a problem. I can see why it was moved, but I wish it wasn't locked.
