Can we help?

Wow, talk about coincidence. I just watched last week on Discovery channel two programs about tumor removal stories - one weighed 200 lbs, the other 180 lbs.

I hope this gets on the front page soon. It would be great to see the AT Effect be useful for a change.

Let's keep the momentum going.
Just doante a tiny amount - and ATOT will make a difference, rather than us all playing with our lightsabers.

Fvcking greedy doctors. Why can't they just do it for free? It's not like they need another 80 ft yacht or 10K sq. ft. mansion. Wait for enough money? WTF?

let's keep this one bumped.

if all of us sent even small amounts it would be helpful for this young lady.

Wow. Just donated.

I hope we can keep this thread on the first page.

what is up with the medical community that they are actually waiting for enough money to be collected until they will help this girl? :|

I'm not gonna be the one to turn this into a P&N-style rant/flame fest.

Yes, it sucks; but that's the decision that's been made. Just give as much as you can to shorten her wait for surgery.

I don't think it's fair to criticize others for not being charitable enough... after all, chances are someone's going to die this year who could have been saved if you'd donated a kidney.

Right. Even if they didn't want to donate the services, they could at least do the surgery to save her life now and just get paid back later. Much like shipping first on FS/FT.

Don't they usually at least do the surgery to save the kid's life if it's possible, which in this case it clearly is?
