As has been discussed many times before - the US flag was put in to show patriotism after 9/11 happened. It's not there to poke fun of non-Americans. It was put in place so people could show their support for the U.S. You put in one flag for a country, (like Canada) then everyone demands their own flag from their own country. How can one justify saying Canada is more "qualified" to have an AT icon than say a small country like Yugoslavia?

Your absolutely right. Since this is a fair and just world the flags of all countries should be available.
On a side note, the proper way to display the US flag is to give it prominence over all other flags. This is usually accomplished my displaying the US flag at a height greater than the other flags. Since we can't do that here, all non US flags should be smaller than the US flag.

Shhh. The proper way to display an US flag on US soil is as you stated. In other countries it is flow equal. There are FMs about it. The only special thing the US flag gets is at sea, all countries flags dip 1st, then the US flag.

As to flags being smaller lets just diplay them in relationship to the official size that they are. For the US flag I propose the garrison flag, but parade would be nice, but not the storm.

I agree, the US flag belongs here, but others should be available. In order to make that happen all other avatars should be removed, everyone here is from a country so it shouldn't be a problem.

You are actually mistaken. United States Code, Title 4, Chapter 1, §7:
(g)

When flags of two or more nations are displayed, they are to be flown from separate staffs of the same height. The flags should be of approximately equal size. International usage forbids the display of the flag of one nation above that of another nation in time of peace.

The US flag should be given the prominent position furthest to the flags' right, however the US flag should never be higher or larger than the flag of another nation. We are a nation of pride, but we are also a nation of respect and honor.

I have, many times. Kindly refer me to where it says the flag should be larger and higher than flags of other sovereign natons. Subsection C? Refers not to flags of other nations, but of national and international organizations - NATO, Red Cross, UN, etc.

C is correct.
No other flag or pennant should be placed above or, if on the same level, to the right of the flag of the United States of America... No person shall display the flag of the United Nations or any other national or international flag equal, above, or in a position of superior prominence or honor to, or in place of, the flag of the United States
If someone were to post a thread and started it with the flag of "Tinbuktoo" that flag would be placed above all others in thread. The only way to show "prominence" in such a situation would be to have different size flags. That was my suggestion, not US code. My suggestion was tounge in cheek as is obvious by the first line. And you don't have to sell me on pride, respect or honor. I was serving on a color guard in the US Army when you were still in diapers. ;)
Again, it was tounge in cheek. MedicBob picked up on it right away.
Now show us your pride and go down and enlist in the Military. :)
