Can we get the default avatar changed to a can of Spam?

I support changing the default avatar to a can of spam.

As someone likes and uses the black guy avatar, I am saddened by the bad rap it gets from spammers.

Great idea, but the day it's implemented will be the day the search is fixed.

They've told you before, they have the software patch's ISO image on their servers. They just can't find it.


The spam icon would be nice though. Of course, some people may abuse it for their own amusement...

The word can be put out that the Spam avatar will have the account locked upon detection by the Mods.

Well, we all agree that it would be a good idea for the most part. I think we need to kick it to the next level. Shamefully, I am not helping, but how about some submissions of art for the avatar? As noted above, Spam and the can are trademarked. But surely someone has both the skill and an idea for an avatar that fits the bill. It might make it easier to implement if we actually had some Spam avatar to use, eh?

I love the idea too, but wasn't it stated many times that they're not going to add any avatars? Maybe they could remove one and then put in the Spammer avatar.

Make it canned ham, or a pig avatar. Everyone will recognize the implication, but without the possibility of violating trademark law.
