Can we get rid of the NEFF thread already?

Yes, but it makes the locals happy and other than the occasional NSFW post doesn't cause us any problems. Getting rid of that thread would be unlikely to improve anything.

Basically if people are going to be nefs, they may as well do it in a single thread.

I used to use it to keep my posts per day at a nice even two point zero zero. Holidays threw that off though.

Let me help.

I created the original nef thread. It was initially a joke since there was an official babe thread, I decided to mess with the mods and make an"official" nef thread. That tread grew like nothing I had ever seen. Then the mods voted to make it official and it stuck.

The thread doesn't hurt anyone and it gives us a place to nef. The amount of nef threads dropped a ton after that thread was made. It's a place to post whatever you want without having to worry about being harassed. We help people, we make each other laugh and we blow off steam.

Most of the people who post in there are seasoned. .. They are not looking for post count. Just a place to BS with others and have some laughs. Plus alternator head and pukey are fun to pick on.

Hey now, I think it rather is a place to post thoughts or ideas without starting a whole thread over it, the little shit that doesn't need a thread, it just needs a single reply, or even just a place to type something out. What's wrong with that?

I worked for thousands of hours getting titles in Guild Wars. Does that count as needing help? I just responded to a three year old post. Does that count toward getting me in trouble with posters?

Nef was a user here who posted a lot of quick, usually inane replies, presumably to increase his post count.
