I use old (6 years) 14' monitor Samsung SyncMaster 3NE with max mode 1024x768x60Hz(non interl.) in mode 600x800xrefresh optimal(72-75Hz ni) near max. During no long trying some no large savage4 overclocking 125/125 at 155/136 mem/core I have some strange sounds from my monitor sometimes.
I'm user only and understand english bad, I'm sorry.
Thanx.

Sure it's the monitor?
it's unlikely, if it's not gonna die.
O/ced video card can not give problems, but that's probably why you have corrupted imges.

Next time make une post and say everything!

Videocard overclocking won't affect the monitor,
but if you run your monitor at a higher refresh rate than its spec to that can damage the monitor.

Though the reason anyone would want to do this is beyond me, because it garbles the image and makes it unusable.

Can overclocking memory or core of video card increase refresh?
I'm using max(near max) mode for my old monitor (1024x768x60Hz ni, 600x800x72-75Hz ni). Thanx.
