its really supposed to be one of those 21 yes/no questions game... I was trying my best to answer the questions.
It does need some imagination. But you need to correlate being in the smoking vs. non-smoking section with something viable.

oh well, could have presented better...

I don't know, I thoguht the one concerning him trying to light a cig with his gun was pretty viable.

Yeah...I was betting on him being a darwin award winner.

Also, if he was hard of sight, he probably would have put the bullets in the gun backwards, and shot the guy next to him in the head. The shock from that would have killed him. If he had been in the smoking section, there wouldn't have been anyone sitting next to him because they all smell and can't stand to sit next to each other. So the backwards bullet would have went harmlessly out the window, but then it could have hit the semi driver with the T-rex, causing it to crash into the train. The big toothy mouth of the rex would have broken through his train car and he would have died then because he was allergic.

He should have a helper monkey load his gun for him, then this all could have been avoided.

this is what Chuckywang proposed and said he likes it better (just like all of u, so posting it on his behalf):

He needed an injection that his doctor prescribed but got his gun instead.

A man rides into town on Friday. Stays three days and then Leaves on Friday, how did he do it?

The horse's name is Friday.

No...he rode in a car on Friday, came into town to steal the horse Friday and rode out on the horse.

no, because that version completely ignores everything except the doctor.

why would he get it right and grab the injection in the smoking section?

I must agree, that was a really bad riddle. Actually, it was good but told really poorly. You need to improve your communication skills.
