My 20gb HD is getting full so would like to add another HD :)
I have a KT7 raid and was wondering if i was to get a second HD can i just pop it on IDE2-ATA100 and select "Span (JBOD)"
After this i aint a clue what to do (yet ;) ) so could do with some help again from u guys :)
I really want to keep all the Logical Drive space (D:) under one drive letter, is this possible in what im trying to do?

Im running Win2K prof with Drive C: (Primary partition-NTFS) for my OS and a Drive D: (Logical Drive-Fat32) where all my programs and gubbings are located. All this on the one 20gb drive.

Thanx,

rockhard =)

Can't do this with RAID 0. The whole sheebang must be set-up and formatted together.

Looks like im goin to have to live with the extra drive letters yeah? :(
I thought tho that spanning was different to R0 tho?
After all how could u do hot swapping of spanned drives on a SCSI dedicated setup?
Maybe done in the OS yeah?
