My 20gb HD is getting full so would like to add another HD 🙂
I have a KT7 raid and was wondering if i was to get a second HD can i just pop it on IDE2-ATA100 and select "Span (JBOD)"
After this i aint a clue what to do (yet 😉 ) so could do with some help again from u guys 🙂
I really want to keep all the Logical Drive space (D🙂 under one drive letter, is this possible in what im trying to do?

Im running Win2K prof with Drive C: (Primary partition-NTFS) for my OS and a Drive D: (Logical Drive-Fat32) where all my programs and gubbings are located. All this on the one 20gb drive.

Thanx,

rockhard =)

I thought tho that spanning was different to R0 tho?
After all how could u do hot swapping of spanned drives on a SCSI dedicated setup?
