I have. She seemed shocked to hear 100+wpm...I didn't get the job, though. :(

Can typing fast get you a job? Yeah, if it's 1950. Who can't type fast nowadays?

My 100wpm got me a job over the summer when nobody would hire me on the short term basis.

When I tested, I also had 0 errors, so yes, it can get you a job. the 14 an hour wasn't bad at all.

EDIT: I mean of course you have to be able to type correctly. Can't just be your omghi2u typing. And it also depends on what you mean by fast. I see lots of replies saying everyone can type fast, but I don't see many people breaking the 60wpm.

Well, I can do 571 kpm for English Words on the test @ typera.tk (30th overall)

Damn I wanna take the test but I don't want to have to register.

You don't. Just hit start on http://typera.tk/index.cws

Yeah. I think this test is more accurate.

Otaking got like 140-150 on typingtest.com and I got around 120-130. I think someone else did better, and someone did 140.

This test, however, told me that I was around 110 wpm, but I believe it because it has the most random words/sentences, etc. Not memorizing crap like typingtest.com

80 WPM will get you a data entry job for $9-12 per hour pretty easily. 10-key is a good skill to have for that too.

Really? Would that kind of job be rare? Where could I search for that kind of job?
