No its not real. Its physically impossible to kick a football that accurately. Its a friggin oblong ball - as long as there is an ounce of wind it will basically never go in the exact same direction even with the exact same kick.

This is like that fake basketball vid a couple years ago or so where kids were throwing the ball of walls in a gym from 50+ feet and making it every time.

i don't know. i would think the FANTASY in that would be for fantasy football. that would also make sense since he says "need a kicker? pick me" but hey i been wrong before..

haha no you're not wrong =)

pele couldnt kick 4 soccer balls in a row from 25 yards out. anyone seriously think that douchebag could kick 4 oblong footballs from 50? if you do, I've got a bridge to sell you.

No wind my ass. 1) You can hear the wind blowing against the microphone. 2) His first kick was clearly going to miss without obvious and easily-recognized push from the left from wind. 3) You can see the flags at the top of the goal posts blowing in the wind.

I'd like to see any pro football team's star kicker try that and hit all four balls in the right order.

In my rugby days, I could kick with accuracy from about 40 yards. I could put 2/3 kicks between posts that were 5 feet apart. It is really not that hard once you develop the touch.

Now, to do it from 50 yards, well that is a slightly different matter, but a professional athlete who does more fitness training than I ever did could easily get the leg to kick that far.

Its got to be fake. The trajectory of 2 of the 4 (particularly the last one), weren't even close to the side he was kicking, yet they disappear off the top of the screen and then appear hitting the post.

Check out the last kick. Definately on a trajectory that would have been WAY LEFT of the right upright.

It is fake. If you go to the link I posted, it shows two other "Fantasy files"... one with a blindfolded reciever catching passes and another one with a QB throwing a football into a trashcan moving twenty miles per hour from 40 yards away.

Three things:

1) Neil Rackers is one of the best kickers in the league. This video reminds me of the Ronaldinho Nike commercial.

2) Neil Rackers is an Illinois alum. Go Illini!!

3) Like the Ronaldinho commercial, no way this is real. It's an advertisement for fantasy football. Would a real video have the kicker say the scripted line "You need a kicker, don't you? Pick me." jjsole said it best in his post about why it's not real.
