Can this laptop run Witcher 2?

Witcher 1 ran fine. Do I have to "dumb down" any settings?

hmmm i'm not so sure about your storage :hmm:, maybe consider getting that 2TB samsung they have for sale. you'll be safe for sure with that inside your laptop

You should be able to run medium to high settings at native resolution. TW2 is a demanding game but has a ton of graphics options you can tinker with. Just avoid ubersampling at all costs. The 5870M is comparable to the 5770 desktop version.
