Don't make me defend him on something. Of course a bi-racial person can be racist. There have been Jews who join anti-Jew groups. It's not about his skin color, but his attitude.
There's no reason Obama could not be racist against whites, blacks, bi-racial people, or all of the above. It may be less *likely*, but it's possible.
But rather, it's that they're trying to portray his standing against some wrongs by whites as being racist against whites, a nice little perverse bit of propaganda.
As I said above, people who push change against bad things are often seen as causing problems and attacked.
Recall how whites who said "you know, gee, these civil rights people have a point that we aren't being fair to blacks" were dismissed with the name "Ni**** lover".
How sad is it that people thought that when they called someone a name that they loved another group of people, it was seen as a blistering attack?
Of course, even today those who say 'don't torture Muslim prisoners' get responses in thei very forum about 'why don't you just hold hands with them and hug them' and such.

And the poll found in ATOT asking the question was like 95% said they were racist to some degree. So again, this topic is completely relevant. I believe when Obama is elected, racial tensions will increase, not decrease.
I don't date blondes because I find most women with blonde hair to be unattractive. Clearly I am discriminating against blondes. Surely it has nothing to do with my preferences based upon what I deem as physically attractive. :roll:

Some call it a preference, some call it racial.
I find Aryans to be beautiful. Then again I am one. I don't find hispanic/pacific island or any of those types of races because they look like crap or a mutt type race who all look the same and not that appealing. I could call it preference, yet others might call it racial.

Using that logic means that anything that anyone dislikes could be labeled as being discrimination. It doesn't matter if it is discriminating against a type of person or object for that matter. It doesn't matter if there are people out there that confuse the two. The fact is that there is a distinct difference between that which is considered to be a preference and that which is racist.

What is with people calling Obama "Hussein"? I don't mean in the context of saying his full name, nor do I mean that bit of absurdity where calling him by his initials was met with moderator intervention on these boards. I mean calling him simply Hussein, or skipping his first name and calling him Hussein Obama (as the OP did). You don't see this with ANY other president in the modern era. I certainly don't recall hearing it with our last few presidents Walker, Jefferson, Herbert Walker, Wilson, Earl, Rudolph, Milhouse, Baines, Fitzgerald, David, S or Delano... Maybe I just wasn't paying attention. Or maybe I'm not a racist asshole who automatically assumes that a name defines who someone is.
I think the P&N mods need to take a tip from Atkins and remove the excess Carbos from the board.
