Can the USPS keep any of their servers running?

I use the USPS for shipping packages/iPods/iPod parts...

Right now the track and confirm server is down... around christmas Clicknship suffered major problems, the ability to print scan forms wasn't working earlier today.

When you're a major company how hard is it to keep servers running? I love the fact that when their servers go under they link to other companies providing the same services (stamps.com and whatnot.)

What idiots do they have running the servers? (if it's anything like the people who work at the post office I guess I just answered my own question!)

I just got the site to load. Don't know for how long though.

I've had problems with their site for days. I was waiting for a package from home (LI --> Chicago), and the few times it loaded, it said my package was routed to Albany (wtf). It still says it is there even though it was delivered today to me. It looks like the DC label fell off the envelope and went a different direction.

And it's down again. I can't believe this. I'm sure all of my customers are thrilled.
