Can the U.S. even pull off an attack on Iran?

The U.S. is already stretched in Afghanistan and Iraq... does starting an attack on Iran mean Afghanistan will be the 3rd priority, and catching Bin Laden, who did plan the attack on the U.S. will be forgotten? How funny it is that most of the U.S. has blindly followed Bush from the main target, Bin Laden, to Iraq and now Iran... Where were those weapons of mass destruction again? I called Bush finding any reason he could to invade Iraq the first year he was in office. I called the lies about weapons of mass destruction(he's an easy guy to read), and I also called the U.S. having major problems with martial law in Iraq. I am now calling that the U.S. will be 100% screwed both economically(already terrible), and defense/military-wise if they foolishly decide to attack Iran. It's great to hear that there may be plans to use nuclear weapons?! Maybe this will pave the way to a larger budget for the war efforts, and thus a larger deficit once the true amount of Bush's irresponsible spending comes to light in 2008...

On a side note, I did call Lebron being the NBA All-Star MVP, and Yao as the best Center in the NBA =) Also the stocks I have chosen are up over 80% for the past year. Ok enough gloating...

wrong forum asshat

Yes an attack on Iran is feasible.

Oh and sense this was likely sparked by the "news" of possible plans for using tactical nukes why wouldn't there be a plan on the table that considered their use?

haha, well I posted it here because no one replies to the political and news messages as frequent as ATOT and this event will have a huge effect on us all. Looks like the U.S. is another business for Bush to run into the ground. I'll run for president if ATOT can nominate me and support the campaign costs =)

Attack - Yes, U.S can attack anyone they want and easily win

Invasion - Nope

Because there are like 50 threads on Iran in P&N and the chances that anyone will reply in the short time that they want is very rare.

Off Topic gets you a reply in less than a minute

Its not an attack its a "liberation". I think our brain dead population is bored of the iraq mini series and wants to watch a new show in a different genre, or at least a different venue. I just don't think Bush has the public support necessary to continue playing desert cowboy.
