UPDATE: Just found that ATI makes the 9600 SE that is low profile. Will the dongle work?

I wanted to hook up a HTPC to my HDTV via ATI's component dongle...the only agp card I found that's low profile is the Radeon 9250.

Will it work?

I find it surprising that ATI doesnt have a newer slim video card for all the HTPC's out there..

Suggestions? The case I bought will only fit a slim card.

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks,

Jaime

Is the low profile 9600 card DVI out? It should work if it is, the DVI>YPbPr adaptor is supported on 9500.9600,9700,9800 series cards.

You might try Newegg for the adaptor also, I think it works out cheaper:Link, I see they also have a refurbed one also for a bit cheaper yet Link
