Can the dems come up with anything other than the Republicans are stupid?

And lest we leave out former VP Dan Quayle, I'll just borrow a few of the verified quotes that can be found at Wikipidea's page on Dan Quayle quotes:

"My National Guard unit did a tour of duty in Vietnam."
Source: Interview on Finnish Mainos-Televisio morning show.

"We have a firm commitment to NATO; we are a part of NATO. We have a firm commitment to Europe; we are a part of Europe."
Source: Interview with Financial Times TV.

"We are on an irreversible trend towards more freedom and democracy - but that could change."
Vice President Dan Quayle, Hawaii, 5/22/89 (reported in Esquire, 8/92)

"One word sums up probably the responsibility of any Governor, and that one word is 'to be prepared'."
December 6, 1993
This source "Vice President Dan Quayle, Hawaii, 12/6/89 (reported in Esquire, 8/92)" has the Governor replaced with "vice president"

"Verbosity leads to unclear, inarticulate things."
Senator Dan Quayle, 10/30/88 (reported in Esquire, 8/92 and the LA Times, 10/30/88)

"Illegitimacy is something we should talk about in terms of not having it."
Vice President Dan Quayle, 5/20/92 (reported in Esquire, 8/92)

"The Holocaust was an obscene period in our nation's history. I mean in this century's history. But we all lived in this century. I didn't live in this century."
Senator Dan Quayle, 9/15/88 (reported in Esquire, 8/92, The New Yorker, 10/10/88, p.102)

"For NASA, space is still a high priority."
Vice President Dan Quayle, talking to NASA employees, 9/5/90 (reported in Esquire, 8/92)

"We are ready for any unforeseen event that may or may not occur."
Vice President Dan Quayle talking about the Mideast situation, 9/22/90 (reported in Esquire, 8/92)

along with my favorite quote that is attributed to him, but that Wikipidea has not listed as being verified:

""It isn't pollution that's harming the environment. It's the impurities in our air and water that are doing it."

And for a collection of bushisms, the now infamous poem-turned-urban legend that snopes.com has confirmed as being true:

MAKE THE PIE HIGHER
by George W. Bush

I think we all agree, the past is over.
This is still a dangerous world.
It's a world of madmen and uncertainty
and potential mental losses.

Rarely is the question asked
Is our children learning?
Will the highways of the Internet become more few?
How many hands have I shaked?

They misunderestimate me.
I am a pitbull on the pantleg of opportunity.
I know that the human being and the fish can coexist.
Families is where our nation finds hope, where our wings take dream.

Put food on your family!
Knock down the tollbooth!
Vulcanize society!
Make the pie higher! Make the pie higher!

Ok, so we have posts about Reagan, Bush Sr, Bush Jr, etc.. anyone notice a common theme here? They are always referred to as STUPID.. Reagan is considering a bumbling old man by dems, Bush Sr. and his VP Quayle constantly portrayed as stupid.. Bush Jr always referred to as stupid or slow. Cheney is seen as weak because of his heart issues.

Is that all the dems have?

Reagan = Stupid
Bush Sr. = Stupid
Quayle = Stupid
Bush Jr. = Stupid
Cheney = Stupid

And you can add many other prominant republicans to that list that democrats constantly try to refer to as stupid:

Newt
Rush Limbaugh (Even worse now with his drug issues)
Jeb Bush

etc.. etc.. etc.. Is EVERY Republican really a bumbling idiot? Or can the dems not beat them on their issues so they must resort to this? I think the answer is clear.. lets repeat that they are stupid enough times and people might actually start to believe it. Sure seems like the stupid people are the ones who can't seem to defeat these "idiots" in the elections. Or, maybe the public is just too "stupid" also.

Seems you forgot one name:

Crimson = stupid

That about covers it.

Red Dawn asks why I sit back and don't respond in these threads.. because its responses like this that prove my point for me.

You post BS threads. People respond with BS, and you cry about that?

here I was under the impression people called Dumya 'stupid' was due to his lack of intelligence, foresight,
inability to comprehend the documents given him, inability to speak English, lack of comprehension on topics ranging
from international politics, economics, (fill in the blank), etc.

Being stupid can make you a very effective politician, if you have the right handlers, and Bush does - they keep him
on message, and away from reporters whenever possible. And yes, I'm a Repub, but will re-register before the election
as 'no affiliation' - the Repubs don't deserve intelligent people who aren't Xians in their ranks

According to Bush man will set foot on Mars, AGAIN....

Can the dems come up with anything other than the Republicans are stupid?

I'm sure they can, but that doesnt mean that isnt correct either.....
