Ok, so we have posts about Reagan, Bush Sr, Bush Jr, etc.. anyone notice a common theme here? They are always referred to as STUPID.. Reagan is considering a bumbling old man by dems, Bush Sr. and his VP Quayle constantly portrayed as stupid.. Bush Jr always referred to as stupid or slow. Cheney is seen as weak because of his heart issues.

Is that all the dems have?

Reagan = Stupid
Bush Sr. = Stupid
Quayle = Stupid
Bush Jr. = Stupid
Cheney = Stupid

And you can add many other prominant republicans to that list that democrats constantly try to refer to as stupid:

Newt
Rush Limbaugh (Even worse now with his drug issues)
Jeb Bush

etc.. etc.. etc.. Is EVERY Republican really a bumbling idiot? Or can the dems not beat them on their issues so they must resort to this? I think the answer is clear.. lets repeat that they are stupid enough times and people might actually start to believe it. Sure seems like the stupid people are the ones who can't seem to defeat these "idiots" in the elections. Or, maybe the public is just too "stupid" also.

It's been this way since the end of the Carter Presidency from what I can remember. The last couple of years it has gotten worse...but the Democratic Party has been intellectually bankrupt since the Carter administration. Just look at how Clinton won the Presidency. He ran on what where mostly Republican themes and somehow managed to make them his own. He was damn good at that....the man had an unbelievable knack for taking other people's ideas and somehow convincing everyone they were his.

Not trolling anything.. asking a serious question.. why can't you guys come up with arguments against Republican policies which don't end is somehow calling a person stupid? (Or, in your case, calling me a troll).

You personally have been calling Bush stupid since before the election.. can't actually beat him on his ideas hey?

Most liberals are intellectually insecure. I believe the psychological term for it is projection. Basically, they sum up all the things they despise about themselves and project those traits on the person they've been programmed to believe is their enemy. That's why they call Bush stupid.

I know I should pity them and try to gently guide them to rationality, but I seem to have temporarily lost the ability to suffer fools and mostly find myself lashing out at them. I'll try to get better.

I haven't called him stupid since he's been elected and I dare you to come up with one thread where I have. I also supported his decision regarding Afghanistan and the Taliban and the Invasion and Occupation of Iraq until it was shown that he decieved us (whether it was intentional on hs part or not is still in question) I don't think he is the sharpest man who has ever been President but I think he is as smart as the Average poster here.

You on the other hand create threads attacking those who you disagree with and then vanish when you are called to defend your position. That is definately Trollish behaviour.

Can reps come up with anything other than Clinton got his knob polished?
They still don't have an answer to Clinton's successful policies. Their economic policy is borrow and spend. They have no sustainable ideas for the economy that don't involve digging us into huge debts.

Clinton's successful policies? Like? This goes back to Clinton taking other people's ideas and making them his own. The best thing Clinton did in office was stay out of the way during the tech boom. He was a classic caretaker President. That is neither good, nor bad, just a fact. Luckily none of his/Hillary's own ideas, Nationalized Health Care, made it anywere

His morality is a whole other issue though.

Yes, the morality of both Bush and Clinton is questionable. I dont see Bush II as the brightest bulb, but smarter than the originator of this thread. I see Bush as a dangerous Crusader.

The only two Presidents in my lifetime who's morality or subordinates Morality wasn't questionable were Carter and Ford and we all know what poor presidents they were!

I'm not sure Bush is a paragon of virtue. I don't even think he's an octagon of virtue . . . at best he has one side . . . . everything I say is right b/c I said so and my God speaks to me.

Clinton's immorality has been proven... I don't think you can prove that Bush is "stupid", or that any of the Republicans listed above are "stupid."

Well, I seem to recall speeches by Bush that Saddam HAD WMDs and allowed his subordinates to say that we knew what and were they were. Not some vague message, but specific assertions. Now, nothing of those KNOWN weapons has been shown to ever exist.

So, is Bush "stupid" or a liar?

Or misinformed, or more informed than you? You can't really prove stupidity with that...

So you don't think his campaign tactics in the Republican primaries against McCain weren't immoral? Or how about invoking 9/11 everytime he wants something.

One can say that AWOL/disertion is stupid. One can say that using Driving Under the Influence is stupid. One can say that using flawed intel for going to war is stupid.

Um... we're discussing Bush's stupidity and Clinton's immorality, not the other way around. Perhaps you should read the entire thread before posting.
