Can the current Intel Pentium 4 Processor support SMP?

I'm surprised that there aren't any boards with 2 sockets for Intel Pentium 4's. Is the Intel Pentium 4 Xeon the only solution? Or is it this licensing crap again? Intel is really dragging their feet. Or is it going to be supported in their new Northwood core? Seeing dual Pentium 4's with DDR memory might be attractive.

it's just like the fact that the new .13um Celerons are SMP disabled. It makes sense from a sales point of view
