If you're setting up the board for the first time press F1 when your prompted to onscreen. If the board is an ARU, it will only go into BIOS after the Promise controller setup screen(at least on my V1.0 board). :)

Is there a bios write protect jumper on that board? If so, is it missing the cap?

I am having precisely the same problem. Before installing the OS [Del] would send me immediately to the BIOS. After installing XP Pro I hit [Del] and nothing, blank screen. I have since found that if you wait for anywhere from three to five minutes, the BIOS screen will eventually come up. When it does, everything appears to be normal, you can make changes, then it boots normally and quickly into Windows. The funny thing is that hitting, for example, [F11] to get into the boot menu works fine. Strange. I have never experienced this before. I have sent numerous emails to MSI support but to no avail. Looks like I will be requesting an RMA number from Newegg. Oh well.

I had the same problem as you . Do you have a zip drive on a ide channel. If so switch the zip to a diffrent channel. I own the same board and I am quite happy with it
