Ive decided... im gonna upgrade! Every time i decide to upgrade ill hit a brick wall, im stuck with AGP, i cant change mobo because my case is tiny... So ive decided to get a new case and then wait a while, maybe for the new Intel architecture before doing any serious upgrading.

So recommend me a case please :D Also will a mATX board fit in an ATX case? Logic says yes, but will the bolts be in the same positions? I dont really have a price range in mind so just throw anything to the table.

Look at the Aerocool Masstige (and the Coolview that is the same except for appearance). They will hold any current mobo (they don't say about EATX (dualie mobo) but it looks like there is enough room if you don't need to use all the upper drive bays), can be converted to BTX if you ever find it necessary, has room for more drives than just about anyone needs, and plenty of space for doing water cooling or whatever you get the bug for. They look pretty future-proof for the money.

If you're looking for quiet I would go with the Antec P180. If you like Lian-Li's I'd recomend the PC-65, PC-75, and the V1200 (if you need any bigger you could get the V2000). Another nice case is the SilverStone TJ-06. If you're not in a rush I'd wait for the SilverStone TJ-07.

All the ThermalTake Tsunami cases are tapped to accept screws for either mATX and ATX Mobos. Aluminum, solid built and sweet to lay eyes on.

Im edging towards the Antec P180. It was either on here or toms that i read a review and i believe it came out on top, or close to the top. I think ill get that, hopefully wont ever need a new case again :)

Theyre all £99 inc VAT in the UK though :frown: o well, you get what you pay for i guess.

Ive read that some PSU's wont stretch the length required to reach the mobo in a P180 setup due to the seperate PSU compartment. I dont kno if my current Antec Truepower 1.0 430w will stretch. Anyone know if it will or not?

Just in case it dosent, can somone recomment a decent PSU with good headroom for extra power loads such as a dual core cpu and a 7800GTX which may be added later on? I looked at the truepower 2.0 range and they seem pretty damn pricey.

Even though I don't recommend power extensions in high-current circuits, you CAN get PSU extensions (if needed) for the ATX and P4 cables so you can use your current PSU in the 180.

Ive killed two birds with one stone. I got a S12 seasonic 500w for cheap, its B-grade though. So i can use the old Antec 430w in my P3 rig which only has a 300w PSU, im told this isnt enough and thats why itll bluescreen once in a while. So its all sorted.

I did some research and the S12 should fit a P180 fine.
