seriously... one needs to look no further than this thread and really any other thread he participates in.
http://forums.anandtech.com/showthread.php?t=2110626

at least a warning if not an infraction.

As usual, there are posters here who cannot have a civil discussion.

Please don't come to PFI and post anymore unless you actually have something useful to add.

This thread is locked.

The next time anyone has a problem with a member , send it to the moderator discussion subforum instead of posting in PFI

This subforum forum isn't used for calling out members, which is exactly what the thread was

I read some of his posts in that thread...
They seem OK to me....or is it the amount of posts that he has in that thread?

I see no issues...

you don't notice he posts 5 times in the span of 2 minutes when they all could've been consolidated into one post?

Oddly, I agree with BBYT here. He'll post 4 or 5 short messages in a row, it's pretty annoying.

I agree, it is annoying. It's like he's conversing with himself sometimes.

the problem with simply doing that is it still takes up half a page of comments. i try to not even make two posts if i'm quoting two people, it's pretty common forum courtesy. probably why i'm not a lifer yet.

I agree. As I mentioned in the other thread I try to make an effort to just edit my last post if I find something else I want to add within the last few minutes. Zorko is posting multiple times within the span of a minute or two and most of the time they are only a few lines or two long. No reason to keep spamming the thread that way.

I say if it is intentional, it's a problem. If each additional post adds something substantial to the thread, let it be. I have my own personal opinion on where he falls.

Then again, my personal opinion doesn't matter. Carry on.

He is padding his post count.

Is it annoying? Yes. Is it an infraction ... I'll leave it to the mods to decide.

I'd like to help you out here Blah but:

This message is hidden because Zorkorist is on your ignore list. Learned this a few months back. It will tidy up any thread he posts in.

It`s funny how you people need somebody anybody to attack!
So what has Zork done actually??

Nothing! Where in the guidelines does it say Zork cannot do this?
How many people to get there post count up go through entire forums and post things like -- I agree or use just a thumbs up with no real commentary?

As much a zork posts there is nothing wrong with what he is doing!!

Sure it`s annoying to some poeple.
Has anyone ever thought that perhaps that is just how zorks thought processes go?

I myself when I read a thread I will comment on each individual persons post and move on to the next post and comment and move on....

As has been suggested just put zork on ignore.

Zork seems like a nice dude and I don`t see him causing any trouble.
What I do see is Zork being singled out for petty little stuff that to some is annoying and to other is just -- oh well.....

Peace!!

So we have a wanna be mod...

Where in the guidelines does it say it is an infraction?
If what Zork does is an infraction then everybody would be getting dinged.

Hell just some peoples very presence is annoying -- they should they be banned??

i don't care what his reasons are, it's annoying and he's doing it on purpose.

Have you taken the time to message Zork and ask him if he is doing this on purpose?
How do you know exactly?

It would be like me saying to you -- by the way your name isa really annoying. You did that on purpose didn`t you?
Without asking you!
Usually when people post on these forums they have a purpose --so you are partially correct!

he was asked in the thread to stop, and he said 'sorry im still getting used to it' or something like that, and then he just kept posting multiples in a row.

Its not even like hes quoting either, he just types a sentence

you are very annoying and you haven't been banned yet, so i suppose you are right. not everyone would be "dinged" because most of us have enough common courtesy to condense our ideas into one or two posts, not five one sentence posts in a row meant to incite people.

also, you calling ANYONE a wannabe mod is pot kettle black, to the highest degree.

also: stop sending me psycho PMs.
