Can someone with a VGA Silencer Rev3 answer a question?

I installed it along with my 9800 Pro yesterday. The only problem is I cant really look at the back of my case to see what speed setting the fan is on. And my other fans are so loud I cant tell a difference in sound between the two switch positions.

Can someone tell me if having the switch 'down' or pointing more towards the ground, means the fan is on high? (keep in mind this is assuming the backplate w/switch is installed on the case)

Anyone who actually owns a VGA Silencer Rev 3 wanna check for me.

Down is high and up is low...they both sound the same to me but that's because my other fans are louder...

By the way...the letters L and H are on the backplate indicating high and low...

Thank you very much.

Yeah I remember seeing the L and H when I installed but now its hard for me to even access the back of my computer and I dont have a mirror to see behind it.

Thanks for the help.

You can feel a difference if you hold your finger there for a bit (the low setting feels like nothing; the high setting you feel a bit of air), but like others said, either setting is totally inaudible if you have 1 or more case fans.

I also had to guess which was which after I first installed it... It's much quieter than the IceberQ I had on there before, though so I love it!

Thank you - I have the same problem. I can't hear any difference, and I also can't feel any air coming out of the thing at either setting.

I daresay neither of us need it, but you sure as hell need to work on your attitude.

Trust me, you need it.

Even though it has been some time since you posted this, I feel I should warn you that continued abusive behavior here will get you banned. There was no call for your attitude in this thread.
