Those things are retarded. I'd just as soon get a real equalizer and run my soundcard through it.
If it had a Dolby Digital/DTS decoder built-in, I could see it. As it is, it does nothing an SB Live! and WinAMP couldn't do by themselves.
Except for the built-in FM receivers they have. Woopdeedoo.

I believe you just run your line-out into it.

Newegg pretty much IS the lowest price. Actualy, I think it is. That is their good one though. You can get an old model for like 50 bucks, but they don't look as cool. 🙂
I almost got one, but then it looks too friggen hard to make an aluminum bezel for. 🙂

I bought a used one from someone, and ended up putting it in my roomates puter.

It will not handle the same # of out put's that my TB Santa Cruz will.

What do you mean it won't handle the same number of outputs? My TBSC has 4 in the back...

If you wire it in the way you have to, you will lose some of the functions from the TB.

Right off I don't remember WHAT functions, but I know thats why I didn't use it.

Though getting it from my roomate would be like pulling teeth.............

Edity: Works fine with his SB live....

BTW: The one I had was the New Q GOLD (a older mod.) so this one may work better with the TB SC.
