Can someone teach me how to overclock an Athlon XP 2400+?

The 2400+ is not one of the best choices for overclocking a t-bred core for two reasons.

It is locked at a 15X mulitplier and it is already running at 2000MHz.

However, if you have core voltage adjustments as well as 1MHz fsb increments, you can overclock some.

Perhaps raising the voltage to 1.75v and raising the fsb moderately you may realize anywhere from 2100-2300MHz. It doesn't hurt to give it a try.

i got my xp2400 to run 155x15(2325mhz) i think i needed 1.7v to get it there, and a thermalright SI-97 to keep it cool.

My Xp-M 2400 runs at 200x11... would lower FSB and higher multiplier work better? Its currently at 1.375vcore

it would be better to keep your fsb @200 and try raising your multiplier to 12, you should be able to hit 2.4ghz with 1.5-1.6v

200 x 12x is an easy OC level with an unlocked 2400+ M. Is the CPU a Mobile, you didn't say?

He said XP 2400+, so I was thinking t-bred @ 133 x 15 for 2000MHz, not the more famous mobile 2400+ Barton.
