Yup, For the last month I have been contemplating getting a tattoo... why? I have no idea. They are one of those things that I never understood why people get...

I was thinking of getting the following :

burning cpu + FreeBSD riding on top of it

location would probably be my left shoulder.

I would never get a tattoo of someones name, or some weird skull something or other. I want one that does symbolize me in some sort of fashion. Perhaps a musical tattoo would be more appropriate... or how about a nifty PERL script tattoo?

Get one that represents you forever. And that's the trick. I've tried to think of a symbol that represents me and I can't. Except one that is kind of tempting: the biohazard symbol. All of us are but a heartbeat away from becoming medical waste.

I know someone who does have a FreeBSD daemon tattoo, and it looks pretty sweet. They guy is nuts though, he has about 30 piercings and enjoys going to pulls and suspensions (don't ask, you don't want to know).

 
I'm going to ruin my post count of 6666 JUST to tell you not to get it.

You'll be sorry! Quite a few people I know are sorry they ever got a tattoo. Besides, FreeBSD isn't going to be around forever. 😛
