Can someone see what this magic-eye photo contains?

Do I just stare at the picture?? I see nothing..except the pattern lol 🙁

You cross your eyes and then slowly move your head back until you see a focused, 3-D image.

Do all of you seriously fail at magic eye that badly? I can go from zero to image in easily less than half a second.

In addition, LOL. 😀

Is there a Magic-Eye Generator somewhere?

Furthermore, stealing image for use elsewhere. Will report results.

I have never been able to see it.
🙁

Some of us are completely incapable.

(includes link to generators for you jerks that CAN see them)

whoa that is trippy. but it doesn't look like anything recognizable to me

very vague description is this rectangular mass at the middle, with "wave" like things at the bottom

For those who can't see these pictures, this would be a horrible first image and probably scar you for life. (Goatse):disgust:

Attempt to focus your eyes like you are focusing on something behind the picture.. if that makes sense.

Yeah, relax and refocus your eyes. Once you get the knack, it'll be easy as pie.

Uh, unless one knows what goatse is beforehand, in which case they'd already be scarred for life, this wouldn't scar them for life. Your statement is not true. :disgust:

I can snap a magic eye into 3D focus easily in seconds, but that method actually inverts the projection. Even inverted, I knew instantly what it was. Then I did the slower method and all was confirmed.

I hate these damned things. I've never been able to see the hidden picture. For those that can see it, though, hiding goatse in one was never something I'd have thought of 😀

Edit: Reading the Wiki more, it seems that ability to see these is based on your depth-perception. I have very little to none, and I've been that way since I was like 2. It might also have something to do with the surgery I had right after I was born to correct my lazy eye.

I can't ever just "see" these things.

Fr everyone having trouble, here's the easiest way to do it... All this talk about trying to focous beyond your monitor never works for me.

This is what I do.

Hold your finger about four inches in front of your monitor. Focus on your finger. Focus focus focus.... You may have to move your finger in and out bit to find the spot.

Do not look at the image... look at your finger. After about 30-60 seconds you'll notice the picture wrap around your finger. Wait. Keep staring at your finger. Wait until the image around your finger is undeniably 3D. It should look like someone tried to super impose your finger on the image.... Like bad CG video. Then look at the 3D part of the image and pull your finger out of view.

Bingo.

The inverted method (which I invented) is to just slowly cross your eyes until you see indentations in the image. Then stop crossing your eyes and let them "focus" on the new image.

It's basically just hax0ring your vision's depth-of-field. If you use the cross-your-eyes method, it ends up inverting the effect. If you use the focus-behind-the-image method, you get the intended result. Either way you can usually identify what the picture is supposed to be.
