Can someone recommend me a good phone for an old person?

Nothing fancy, just a nice (preferably), large screen, big # keys, and big letters on the screen. A loud ringer and volume level would be nice too lol. Only used for calling. Any ideas what I should get? I'd rather not spend a ton of money. ATT is our phone company.

Thanks!

(Feel free to move this to another forum if I posted this in the wrong one. I'd post it in mobile devices and gadgets but I'm not looking for anything fancy...just a piece of shit that is easily accessible for an older person.)

Nice, i been looking but those jitterbug phone seems pricy.. my pops is old too been looking for large button with big screen phones.. right now he's on the 100 dollars tmobile prepaid and doesn't even uses the whole thing during the year

I got my folks a jitterbug (76 and 69) and they seemed ok with it. The main part they liked is when you open the phone, it makes a noise like a regular land line does. They still never plug it in to charge it so it never has an battery when they leave. I bought a car charger for it, and they still don't charge it. Just plug it in and then use it. Now I worry about them trying to talk and drive and charge at the same time. It also is programmed to call an operator when you dial 0.

I like the iPad idea, but data charges for something they will barely use? I have just really come to realization my folks are stuck in their era. The era when people are away you leave them a message. My mom still thinks I can hear her when she leaves me a message on my cell...

It's just such a...piece of shit for the price. I figured I'd spend like $25 bucks and get him something used. He doesn't need it to be retardedly simple, just have big numbers basically.
