Can someone recommend me a good phone for an old person?

I like the iPad idea, but data charges for something they will barely use? I have just really come to realization my folks are stuck in their era. The era when people are away you leave them a message. My mom still thinks I can hear her when she leaves me a message on my cell...

Wow..
Seriously, though...an iPhone is about as simple as it gets for managing voicemail and multiple calls.
Just make sure you can get one from a company that won't force you into a data plan.

My parents are 73 and 75. They both have an Iphone. My mom doesn't understand why I won't join facebook and be her friend. She sends me emails to check out the photos she posted on facebook. I'm lucky that they are both in good health and my dad is still teaching graduate level Mech. Engineering classes at a state university.

IPhones are really easy to use. Android devices are for people that are tech savvy.
