My Sony Ericsson T610 phone sucks. It keeps crashing, the battery will drop from 3/4 full to empty then it will shut off, and it has a hard time charging using the OEM charger. Maybe its the firmware or its just a crappy phone, either way I want something else. I would prefer a flip phone with bluetooth, doesn't have to have a camera (but most do now). I'm currently using TMobile so it will have to be unlocked or for Tmobile.

I'm a fan of the Motorola Vxxx series. The V600 would fit your needs. There are a few new Vxxx versions coming out too.

I hear the build quality isn't that great on that phone tho.
I think the V300 is built beter than the V600.

ah very nice, i'm probably going to buy it off ebay though. Also I noticed on isekii FS post that hes wanting to trade for a Samsung E715, which made me investigate this phone and it seems pretty nice anyone else have this phone that can tell me the pros and cons?

E715 cons are no bluetooth and poor battery life.
I'm swapping out because I like switching phones :p I give my phones like 3-4months max.

I'm not a big fan of the V300 (well, not as big a fan as I am of the 400), but I have heard some stuff about the V600 case cracking. I'm not sure if that's a certain hardware version, or what, but it's definitely something to watch out for.

I mentioned the V600 because it has Bluetooth.

Yea that's what bothers me about Motorola.
Their quality = garbage most of the times. one fine example is T720

Their best phone still I think is the StarTac.

I have a Moto V300 and I love it. Definitely look into it. My main gripe is the poor camera, but hey, it's a phone.

No it's plastic.
I think the Aston Martin version is the metal casing ?
But that phone version is like 600bucks

Get the K700. Mp3/Radio 40mb andsome more stuff.
It's the bigger brother of the T637

I think I'll go down to the store I got my TMobile subscription at see if I can try out the V600. I might end up switching to Verizon because I don't get any reception at work.

Verizon is great. However, they are expensive and the phone selection sucks.

I really never cared about it before, now I am really wanting bluetooth and other features. Cingular's service is great around here from what I have read. With the purchase of AT&T, they are just going to get better.

Just purchase an unlocked phone. You don't have to go directly to cingular to purchase it.
What you need is a Triband phone. Check out www.gsmarena.com You can see all the wonderful mobiles that we'd never get here in the US.

I have a Nokia 6800. It flips open with a full on keyboard. Quite robust and reliable. Interfaces with Outlook and Palm software for calendar/schedule management.

Ken

I wanted one of those so bad when I had free unlimited text messaging. :D But now that I have to pay, not having a keyboard is probably a good thing.

I have a Moto V400, BTW.
