Ok, I'm trying to decide between these two cases.

Ok, I'm going to be running a 6800 PCI-E by MSI graphics card in it and wanted to make sure it has enough power. I also want to make sure it has good enough cooling but I don't want to buy a case+PSU for over $85. I'm also kind of concerned about the case cooling because I might one day decide to OC, so I'd like for it to have places for extra fans. I don't really know a whole lot about cases so could anyone please tell me how to tell on newegg.com or somewhere like that if it comes with places for extra fans? Thanks in advanced guys.
 
$85.00 for a case AND a psu? Your kidding right? A good quality psu doesn't go for less than $50.00 (forget overclocking). That leaves $35.00 for the case. Yipes! And your willing to drop enough jimmy for a 6800 PCI-E gpu.

It's fine if you don't care about your case (have your computer assembled open out on the table), but please don't skimp on the psu.

I didn't even look at the links to the cases you have listed. The one thing I would recommend to you is spend more on the psu (more than $50.00) and get a reputable one with @ least 24 amps on the +12 volt rail. There are many threads in here to guide you to a good psu.

As for having a case with enough fan locations, that's easy. Most do. If you really care about your rig's hardware, DO NOT buy a cheap case with a psu (one or both will suck).
 
Ok, see here's my problem, I'm over budget. When I say that I mean I can't spend anymore. See my dad's the one pay for it and I already have the graphics card, the HD, and the modem ordered (only allowed to spend $500 a day stupid debit card...). I did have me, what I thought was a pretty good case. It was a Thermaltake case with a Thermaltake PSU, here are the links.

So with the case and the PSU's prices but together I"m like somewhere around $40 over budget and my dad doesn't like to budge on things like this. So please, make a suggestion on which of the two cases I picked out you like better, based solely on looks and the fan, just forget the PSU. I might get me a new PSU for my birthday so I'll get me a good one then. Any help will be appreciated. (I do appreciate you telling me that stuff though =p)
 
They aren't as flashy as the cases you listed but you should take a look at the Antec 3700 BQE and Antec Sonata. Good quality cases and power supplies. I have the Sonata and it is a fantastic case with a very good power supply. The thermaltake SViking (that you listed) was one that I looked at as well.

Anyway, it is possible to get a quality PSU and case for about $85. The Sonata was 98 shipped for me last week. The 3700 AMB is currently $65 shipped. The PSU is 350watts but it is a GOOD 350 watts. If you're under a budget, it would be a good choice. THere are people running 6800 Ultras on 300 watt antec power supplies but I wouldn't go that low. The most important thing on a PS is getting one that delivers consistent voltage. A cheap 400 watt ps isn't capable of delivering 400 watts for more than a very short time. I'll take an Antec 350 over a cheap 400 any day.

I like the Antec SLK3700AMB and Newegg often has them in the Daily Specials for an even better price. I can't be too helpful if you insist on valuing bling over substance.

Do either the Sonata or the SLK3700AMB have a slot for another 120mm fan? Because I'd like to have and intake outake thing going on and the just one fan thing makes me a little concerned. If it does and it'd be effective I'll buy it. (I'll try really hard trying to talk dad into it ^^.) Could someone tell me how many slots for fans and what sizes they that these cases come with? Thanks in advanced guys.
 
The sonata does have 2 120's but the front one is attached to the fan cage behind the drives. It functions mostly to cool the drives. The 3700 has it's fan mount in front of the drives. If you're overclocking, the 3700 is probably a better (and cheaper) choice. I would have taken the 3700 but it doesn't have a lock on the front door (one of my requirements as I got rid of my lanboy because it was getting turned off constantly by 18month old fingers).
 
Another recommendation for an Antec case, I have 3700AMB and I like it. I'm running a couple 120mm fans, intake and exhaust. I wanted slow-running 120mm fans for the quiet, and my hard drives stay nice and cool, which was a big priority for me.

If you decide you need more power, you can ebay the 350W unit. I sold my usused PSU for ~$30 a year ago, although it looks like they're going for a little less than that now.
