I have these little itchy bumps on the ring finger of my right hand.

They appaeared about 2 days ago and they itch like crazy sometimes... PICTURE (Note, they are not white tipped, they are just shiny and reflecting the light from what angle)

Any ideas what this might be?

Looks like eczema.

They're likely liquid filled, you can pop them.

Have your recently started using a new soap?

Could be scabies. Have you been sticking your finger in places you shouldn't? ;)

Seriously, though, probably an allergic reaction to something. Try putting cortisone on it or take some antihistamines.

If they don't go away in a couple days, go see a dermatologist.

Will it spread in the sense of if you scratch your arm will you get it on your arm? No. You probably didn't rinse your hands well enough & left soap residue behind, or something like that.

Rinse your hands thoroughly with hot water, no soap.

It should clear up on it's own.

It's eczema. I'm a hairdresser and I used to get that on my hands all the time. It's so itchy! My hands were always in hair bleach and perm solution which is what caused the reaction. Use a cortizone cream, which you can get from your Dr. Also there is a cream that you can put on your hands which acts like a barrier to chemicals or whatever is causing the reaction. Also make sure you wear gloves if you are going to be dealing with harsh things on your skin, especially with your hands inflamed like they are. Lastly moisturize, moisturize moisturize! I find Keri lotion works best for me. Hope this helps!
