Also iduring a conjunction sentence, do you use a comma before the and?

 
I never used to put a comma before and. I guess its ok if you want the reader to pause.

I will teach you English. Fair warning though, I am only slightly more educated than Jethro Clampet.

I use commas to put 2 sentences together into one. Sometimes if I feel a pause is needed.

Its an ok sentence. I don't claim to be an English professor though.

No one here will teach you proper English. What you will learn here is "American English" which is a complete bastardization and should not be taken seriously anywhere.
