Can someone help me with this error message?

I have Windows XP Pro.

If I do right click on my computer and then properties, I get the following error message:

rundll32.exe - Unable to Locate Component
This application has failed to start because framedyn.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem.
***OK*** <-- the okay box

If I hit OK, the properties box will open. However, I want to make sure what this error is and I want to fix it.
The framedyn.dll is located in system32/Wbem, and that directory is in the PATH statement.

Which application is it talking about??

Thanks!

you tell me what application that is.

type this in the run command

msconfig and look for that file in there and uncheck it. check startup, see if it's in there

Unchecking that will stop your nVidia systray applet from loading.

That dll must becorrupt, get a good copy of it somewhere.

Anyone know what the problem might be? or where I can get and install a good copy? good copy being the rundll32.exe file I am assuming....

If not, i would just have to reinstall XP tomorrow.....

Actually, I think Nothinman is referring to the framedyn.dll as needing replacement. If rundll32.exe were corrupt, you most likely wouldn't be able to boot to Windows.

oh....
then anyone know where i can find good copy of framedyn.dll? does anyone know what this file does?
Is it in the windows XP cd? could i just copy it from somewhere, or is this file like configured in a certain way for my specific system?

sorry for 20 questions....
