I dealt with electronics years ago but since have fogotten quite a bit but would like to pick up as much as possible again. I found a great program online that letsyou create circuits and use a virtual ocsilioscope and multi meter but it is in russian so that doesnt do me any good :(
I rememeber all the basics ohm's law and resistor banding and stuff like that but when it comes to higher stuff with multimeter and ocilioscopes I start falling back pretty bad :( anyone care to help me find an english version of the program I found or something?
I searched on google and it's called e_sfx.exe only one site found it that I could see :( there is a russian.dll file and an english.dll file but no matter what it's all in ?????? ??????? ?????? charecters lol

Check out a book called "The Art of Electronics" by Horowitz and Hill. Excellent book, covers most, if not all, bases.

Good Luck

Find a college that doesn't require a login to access lecture notes and find an Intro EE course, then read through the notes ;)
(Most CMU profs put stuff on the blackboard page, which requires a logon to access)
