Can someone guide me to a site on how to install a fan on an A7V via chipset.

Why? Cooling the KT133 chipset on the A7V wont get you any extra FSB.

I don't have case cooling, I'd rather put a fan on the chipset than the case.

your not going to be doing any good if the case is hot. you need the fan to be moving fresh air across the northbridge. And as far as installing a fan on the northbridge, just find one that fits and screw that puppy on, I did. But like Dulanic said, it wont get you any more fsb, at least it didnt for me. 107 is tops, but i run it at 105 anyways, so i dont really care.

Thanks, here's my story.

I have the side open, I have a 12' room fan blowing it when it's really hot but I figure that if I put a blue gorb on the northbridge like you said I should'nt have any problem with a case with no fans (well I hope so anyway) I am testing and have lined the inside of the case with soundproof foam. I still think that I will need to flow air out of the case. I'm trying to keep it quiet, I don't want any case fans but it seems that I won't be able to.

BTW: increase FSB or FPS is not my goal, sound is.
