yeah i know the CLI version is better, but my boss here at work says that i can set up the GUi version on screensaver mode here at work

Were you using one of the links from Distributed Computing forum if so go directly to the seti@home site and download frm there. I had that problem too.

I just tried to download the GUI executable, but when i clicked on the link, my server (and net sharer) reset itself :|

It did that when i tried to do it on the server itself and on my machine :|

I will however put the CLI, Seti Driver, and the Duplexing Screensaver up on my website And if i can download the GUI then i will put that there as well!

If you use the Duplexing Screen Saver, then you can run the Seti CLI only when the screensaver is active.

Install the screen saver, and go to properties. Then enter the path and filename of the CLI, and if you want to use a proxy server such as mine, add "-proxy teamanandtech.d2g.com:80" or OK's server "-proxy orangekid.teamanandtech.com:5001" to the path.

Then, select a screensaver to run on the top (not one of the 3d ones though, that eats away at Seti time), and set go through clicking OK.

Before you run the screensaver though, go to "Start -> Run" and enter "C:\MySeti\Directory\seti.exe -proxy seeaboveort" and set up a new user or use your existing account, otherwise when you run the screen saver then it will sit there waiting for that information
