Israel is NOT an apartheid state/regime! Comments like this annoy me to no end. Israel and its government are some of the most welcoming of people. I have had many people of all races, religions and nationalities tell me this. Arabs of all nationalities have been treated in Israeli hospitals at little or no cost. In fact, in most of the West Bank, the Israeli government has put MORE restrictions on the Israeli/Jewish people living there than they put on the Palestinians. How is that "apartheid"?

TLC's question was a very appropriate one. Somalia does not have the same publicized civil political strife that Israel has. His point was that Israel is improperly labeled as apartheid against the Arabs/Palestinians when the give Arabs the same rights (if not more depending on where in Israel you are) as Israelis have. Yet Hell would freeze over the day the Palestinian government allows an Israeli (Jew or non-Jew) in their parliament.
