Like when they say it is 4x200 or whatever. Exactly how does it work? I want to pick up a 1000W amp to bump some JL 12" W7s. I know that 1000W is a lot, but I want my ish to bump na mean?

They are pretty knowledgeable over there, but can be fairly biased at times. They can recommend amps for the W7's.

If you want something cheaper, head over there and read about the Brahma by Adire. It'll sound almost as good, get just as loud, and cost half as much.

4 channels at 200w each. That's at the standard 4 ohm impedance per channel. If you bridge channels or run in parallel to change the impedance, you can get more power.

If you bridge the connections, then you would get 400 watts for 2 speakers
Its an 800 watt amp

So if I hooked up a 1K watt amp to a JL W6 or any 12" JL sub it would pretty much rock my socks?
