Do you have any idea how much medical professionals pay for insurance and how much money is involved with malpractice suits, legit or not?

He knows how to rant on things he has no clue about. Isn't that easy?

There wasn't anything racial posted. There weren't any people in the pics. There weren't any words or anything racial in any way. The only racist person here is you.

You really don't expect anyone to believe that, do you?

Yes and that is part of the problem.

People see lawsuits as the way to go even when they are informed of the possible problems. They are assholes in their own.

Could just have health care for everyone. :) I like that idea considering children and many other people cannot afford health care. But I guess if you classist assholes want to let 5 year olds die/be-in-pain/not-get-medical-attention because they're single mom can't pay for health care for all 4 of her children when their father dies/leaves/doesn't want them/whatever, then we won't do it.

Bootstrap myth is a myth for a reason.

My god, people seem to think that they should receive a specialized service for free (services of a doctor). YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR IT. I don't have a problem with government-covered checkups, but there should be private insurance for major surgeries and such, and stipulations for people that don't take care of themselves or have high-risk lifestyles (fatasses, rock climbers).

Doctors have to train for their profession for a long damn time, and they don't make any money until they're middle-aged. The more we screw over doctors by reducing their salaries, the less people will want to become doctors. It's better to saturate the industry with doctors (ie, subsidize medical school) than reduce their salaries to provide coverage for all. Saturating the industry = lower costs.

I find it funny how affordable people like yourself find reforming health care to be. People who have yet to earn their first nickle do in fact find it to be a wonderful plan.

Your assumption that the current system is so evil indicates just how much time you've wasted watching cartoons.

Your knee jerk reaction will now be that I am a "classist asshole". I'm for health care reform in a big way. But I'm not for it as the House envisions it. One of my issues with it, is that it's fiscally reckless. But if my mommy was going to be paying, I'd probably be all for it.

I think it's affordable if you end wars. Countries like Norway seem to be doin' just fine. (Although I must admit, they have some CRAZY laws/taxes when it comes to getting your license and buying a car)

I am probably not going to be 100% behind any bill they are going to try to pass within the next 10 years. It's not affordable right now. I never said this bill was epic win.

This is getting very racist, very fast.

Yeah, the chicken and watermelon posts are retarded. There are FAR MORE POOR WHITES than every other race/illegal COMBINED that will benefit from this healthcare "reform."

This is the problem with many of the new social pushes (I'm not saying that all social programs are bad): We aren't Europe. Something may work well in Norway and completely fail here. Our people aren't European, our country isn't small, and our role in the world isn't the same as the European countries.

Americans feel entitled. Until that goes away, any system which rewards doing less in any way will ultimately fail.
